My goal is to help you understand chemistry—not just memorize formulas. We'll break difficult concepts into manageable pieces, work through problems together, and build the confidence you need to be successful on your own. Every student learns differently, so I tailor each session to your individual needs. If something isn't clicking, we'll look at it a different way until it does. I use diagrams, models, simulations, and real-world examples whenever they help make a concept easier to understand.

After each session, I'll send you a personalized PDF summary of what we covered, along with worked examples and key ideas to review before your next class or exam.

I've taught chemistry for more than 30 years, working with thousands of students in General Chemistry, Honors & Accelerated Chemistry, AP Chemistry, and College General Chemistry. One of my favorite parts of teaching is seeing the moment when a student says, "Oh...now I get it!"

AP Chemistry has always been one of my favorite classes to teach. This past year, 9 of my 11 AP Chemistry students earned a score of 3 or higher on the AP Exam, with 7 earning a 4 or 5.

I have 30+ years of experience teaching chemistry, including Honors and AP Chemistry, and I currently tutor both high school and college General Chemistry students. I help students identify misconceptions, understand difficult concepts, and build the problem-solving skills needed for homework and exams. My AP Chemistry students have consistently performed well on the AP exam, and I have extensive experience preparing students for challenging chemistry courses. My goal is for students to understand the chemistry rather than simply memorize how to solve a problem.

Amazing tutor!

I've worked with a variety of tutors before, but Ronni is truly amazing! I've had quite a few sessions with her, and she has helped me tremendously with my last prerequisite class, Intro to Chemistry, before nursing school. As a visual learner, online tutoring can sometimes be challenging, but Ronni uses helpful resources to support her teaching and explains information in different ways until I fully understand the concepts. She doesn't just help me memorize the material but she helps me truly understand it and relate it to things I already know. She has gone above and beyond to help me prepare for my exam. She breaks down challenging concepts step by step and is incredibly patient and supportive throughout the process, I cannot recommend her enough!
