I am a digital artist, concept artist, and fantasy book illustrator with several years of experience working as a professional in the art industry. While working one on one with authors, my line of work has allowed me to specialize in character design and narrative illustration, focusing on storytelling through my artwork.
After graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a degree in sequential art, I also began small, in person, group tutoring sessions, focusing on progressing from the fundamentals of art, all the way towards creating successful final art pieces. Highlights from that course include, drawing from life, exploring multiple mediums, mastering color theory and composition through practical application, and ultimately learning to draw from imagination. I have worked as an educator for all ages, ranging from middle school to adult artists looking to improve their skills.
I am always incredibly excited to work with students whose artistic ambitions may reach beyond what is offered in a typical classroom environment. I have experience working with manga mediums during a study in Japan, writing and illustrating comics, and exploring modern styles like magical realism. My greatest passion is helping students realize their goals through the support of their unique talents.
