After I completed my studies I continued in an academic role as the physics demonstration manager at the University of Minnesota. Through this role I learned the invaluable aspect of visual aids to help students understand physics concepts. I possess short videos of nearly all of the 700+ demonstrations I managed. As a tutor I routinely involve these videos in my sessions to bring the equations to life. Additionally, I taught high school physics for one year, where I wrote the entire curriculum for the course.
Professionally I now hold and industry job as an electrical engineer, but I can't escape my passion for teaching. I have been doing online one on one tutoring for high school and college level physics classes for the last two years with great success. I have a special talent tutoring physics because I understand the high-level math, but can talk about the subject in a nuanced manner. My ability to communicate complicated topics in a manner that is easily digestible is what separates me from other tutors who only have been in an academic background. I am a great tutor for high school physics, especially calculus based AP courses, and any college level physics course.
