Bio

I have always been a Teacher! My first degree, my Bachelor's Degree was in Math for Secondary Education, and Beginner Level Math is my favorite to teach. I love Algebra and helping kids and Adults understand it. We use math everywhere everyday and I find it fun! After I worked as an Accountant for a few years in Baltimore City, I went back to school to become an RN, then got my Masters Degree in Clinical Leadership so I could teach Nursing.

I have always been a Teacher! My first degree, my Bachelor's Degree was in Math for Secondary Education, and Beginner Level Math is my favorite to teach. I love Algebra and helping kids and Adults understand it. We use math everywhere everyday and I find it fun! After I worked as an Accountant for a few years in Baltimore City, I went back to school to become an RN, then got my Masters Degree in Clinical Leadership so I could teach Nursing.

Since then, I have been teaching Nursing at Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing and at the University of Maryland School of Nursing as well as teaching CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) for the American Red Cross and the American Heart Association. So I teach college age students and any age adults now too. I just love to help people understand how the body works scientifically and to give them those "aha" moments of clarity.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematical Science from Penn State University and was originally licensed as a PA State Secondary Education (grades 6-12) Teacher for Math. I used to teach SAT Math Prep at Sylvan Learning Center. I have tutored Math privately for many years.

I enjoy proofreading and helping ESOL learners with their pronunciation, grammar, spelling, and comfort level in the English language. More recently, I have been tutoring those who need help passing a Board Test, like the GED, GRE, NCLEX, ACT, and others. I specialize in the Math portions.

I have a Master of Science in Nursing from University of Maryland in Baltimore, 3.7 GPA. I was a Clinical Scholarship Recipient, and a Clinical and Lab Instructor for 5 years at Johns Hopkins University and UMD in Adult Health, Health Assessment, Fundamentals, and Adult Health II.

Kimberley has been helping me prepare to take the NCLEX-RN and she has been very strategic in helping me think through and talk through different types of questions commonly seen on the exam. It is much more helpful to me than answering question after question on my own, and she really helps with picking out what the NCLEX wants you to know. She has been super helpful thus far in my studying plan.
