Hello! My name is Bryan Soriano, and I’m a Computer Science graduate and a DevOps Engineer with professional experience using programming, problem-solving, and cloud technologies in real-world environments. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, College Park and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Georgia Tech. Throughout college and in my career, I’ve worked extensively with Python and Java, and I enjoy helping students build confidence in subjects that can feel challenging at first.

I tutor elementary, middle school, high school, and college students in computer science, programming, and mathematics. I specialize in introductory computer science and programming with a focus on Python and Java, and I can help with coursework, labs, projects, homework, and debugging. I’m especially comfortable working with beginners who are building their foundation, but I also support students who want to strengthen their understanding and improve their performance. I also have experience providing one-on-one tutoring and academic support.

My tutoring approach focuses on breaking problems down into manageable steps, explaining the “why” behind each concept, and guiding students toward solving problems independently rather than simply providing answers. For math, I help students at all levels, including elementary fundamentals and high school and college Algebra and Calculus. Sessions are structured but supportive, and my goal is always to make sure students truly understand what they’re doing so they can continue improving on their own. I would be happy to work with you and help you reach your academic goals.
