Having completed a PhD dissertation, an MA thesis, and a BA honors thesis, I have first-hand experience with the trials and triumphs of thesis writing. Such long-form research and writing requires a strong argument, clear organization, and diligent citation management. I take a positive, inquisitive, and student-centered approach to tutoring this process--for a one-off help session or for regular, supportive meetings throughout the project. I am also a university instructor and am therefore particularly in-tune with the expectations of university thesis writing in the humanities. In addition to the thesis itself, coaching can cover project planning, time management, chunking the project into smaller tasks, efficiency of working sessions, breaking through writer's block or overwhelm, and supportive software tools.
