I have a strong passion for helping students build confidence and succeed in STEM, especially in math, chemistry, physics, and engineering fundamentals. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering, graduating Summa Cum Laude. My coursework included key Mechanical Engineering subjects such as statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, mechanics of materials, fluid mechanics, and engineering materials.

I currently work as a Safety Engineer supporting complex technical programs. In addition to my professional background, I spent three years as a STEM tutor at a local college, where I supported students in a variety of STEM subjects and gained extensive experience helping learners with different academic needs and learning styles. This combination of academic, tutoring, and real-world engineering experience allows me to connect classroom concepts to practical applications that make learning more meaningful and engaging.

Throughout my tutoring experience, I have worked with high school and college students in both one-on-one and small group settings, in person and online. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and student-centered. I focus on identifying individual learning styles, strengthening foundational understanding, and breaking down complex topics into clear and manageable steps. I believe that students thrive when they feel encouraged and supported, so I create a positive, judgment-free learning environment where questions are welcomed and mistakes are seen as valuable learning opportunities.

During sessions, I use real-world examples, visual explanations, and guided practice to help students master the material and build confidence in their abilities. Whether the goal is to improve grades, prepare for exams, or get ahead in STEM coursework, I tailor each lesson to the student’s unique needs and goals. My mission is not only to help students succeed right now, but to equip them with the problem-solving skills, study habits, and confidence they need to continue excelling in future STEM

Calculus

Calculus

I have a strong background in Calculus through my engineering education, with extensive experience applying calculus concepts in physics and engineering courses. I also worked as a math tutor at a community college for 3 years, where I supported students in Calculus I–III, with a focus on integration techniques, sequences and series, differential equations foundations, polar/parametric functions, and real-world problem-solving. I specialize in breaking down complex concepts in a clear, relatable way to build student confidence and mastery.
Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a concentration in Materials Engineering, graduating Summa Cum Laude. My coursework included key Mechanical Engineering subjects such as statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, mechanics of materials, fluid mechanics, and engineering materials. I have three years of experience tutoring STEM subjects at the college level, where I helped students understand core mechanical engineering concepts and succeed in challenging coursework. With both academic excellence and practical engineering experience as a Safety Engineer, I bring real-world applications into tutoring to help students build a strong foundation and confidence in Mechanical Engineering.
Physics

Physics

I hold a B.S. in Engineering and completed Calculus-Based Physics I, II, and III, along with core engineering courses including Statics, Dynamics, Strength of Materials, and Engineering Mathematics. I have prior experience tutoring college students in physics and math, helping them build a deep conceptual understanding and confidence through clear explanations and step-by-step problem solving. My approach focuses on mastering fundamentals, applying concepts to real-world examples, and strengthening problem-solving skills for exams.
Thermodynamics

Thermodynamics

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a concentration in Materials Engineering, graduating Summa Cum Laude. My engineering education included core thermodynamics coursework supported by fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer, and materials science, giving me a strong foundation in energy systems and thermal processes. I also have three years of experience tutoring STEM subjects at the college level, where I helped students strengthen their understanding of thermodynamic concepts and apply them to real engineering scenarios. In addition to my academic background, I am a practicing Safety Engineer, which allows me to relate thermodynamics to real-world applications in industry, making the subject more engaging and practical for students.
