My fellow students,
I am a Computer Science graduate from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) with a 3.69 undergraduate GPA. During my undergraduate studies, I also completed graduate-level coursework, earning a 4.0 GPA in those classes. I plan to pursue graduate studies part-time in the future. I currently work as a Full-Stack Software Engineer at McDonald’s, where I help build and maintain enterprise-grade applications. During my undergraduate career, alongside my studies, I contributed to and co-authored peer-reviewed research in areas including ML/AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and the Internet of Things (IoT).
Teaching has always been central to my passion for computer science. During my undergraduate years, I held teaching roles within my professor’s lab and regularly tutored underclassmen in the Computer Science department, whether that means breaking down difficult coursework, debugging programming assignments, or applying theoretical material to real-world applications.
My tutoring philosophy is simple: start with a clear end goal and break complex problems into smaller, manageable steps. This approach helps students build confidence and develop strong problem-solving skills, focusing on true understanding rather than memorization.
I tutor a wide range of Computer Science and Mathematics subjects, including C++, Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Data Structures and Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming, Operating Systems, Databases, Discrete Mathematics, Calculus, and Linear Algebra. I enjoy working with high school and college students and tailor each session to the student’s goals and learning style.
My goal is to create a supportive, structured learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and tackling challenging material. With the right guidance and mindset, I believe every student can succeed, particularly in the world of Computer Science and Mathematics!
