I'm Dianne! I am a current 4th year medical school student who will be attending Georgetown for General Surgery residency in July 2022. I graduated Cum Laude from Boston University College of Arts and Sciences with a major in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology (BMB) and a minor in Psychology. During college, I realized my passion for health education and understood the importance of patience and community while learning a new skill. So often, the journey to academic success is isolating and daunting. My goal has always been to transform the learning experience into one of understanding and less of memorizing. I use lesson plans and work with students to establish realistic and manageable goals and checkpoints.
I have more than 7 years of tutoring experience, having tutored students throughout undergrad and during medical school. I have worked both one-on-one and in small group settings and am comfortable in either. While I am well versed in all levels of science, I've most often tutored students in Intro Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biostatistics, Microbiology, Psychology and Anatomy. I enjoy each of those subjects equally and am always eager to sharpen my skills to help students reach their fullest potential.
I want to benefit the students I work with as much as possible to reach their goals. I am very flexible with timing and don't mind unconventional tutoring hours. I am very receptive to feedback and suggestions from both students and parents. I am easy to reach and will always provide fast responses. Feel free to contact me with any addition questions or to schedule a lesson!
