About Me:
As a Howard University honors student pursuing a B.A. in TV/Film with minors in Theatre Arts and Playwriting, I’ve mastered the art of breaking down complex concepts into engaging, relatable lessons. My 3.8 GPA reflects my deep understanding of STEM and humanities—from Algebra to persuasive writing—and I’ve honed my teaching skills through hands-on mentorship. As Senior Producer of Entertainment for Howard’s Spotlight Network, I train teams in creative storytelling and project execution, while my internships at Apple and 7 Stages Theatre involved designing instructional materials and coaching teens in collaborative art projects.
My Tutoring Approach:
I specialize in helping middle/high school students (ages 12–18) build confidence in Math and college application essays. Having raised my own SAT score by 200+ points, I teach practical strategies (not just theory) and tailor sessions to each student’s goals—whether it’s solving equations faster or crafting essays that stand out. I’ve worked one-on-one and in group settings, from Jumpstart volunteer programs to private mentorship, and my priority is making learning feel empowering, not overwhelming.
