As your tutor, you will receive more than just lectures. My philosophy on teaching focuses on an engaging, Socratic-style learning process that will make every lesson and every discussion go beyond the question on the page. As an experienced educator, I will take every learning opportunity as a way to connect my students knowledge to the bigger picture in every subject. I believe that every lesson should come with open dialogue, the place where the real learning happens. All of my students will get to learn in a safe space that reinforces self-learning and that works at a pace that works for them.
Given my experience with a broad range of students and backgrounds, I well understand the learning process at all stages, for all types of students regardless of the subject. I have worked with students as young as 4 years of age in developing number sense to established professionals that seek to learning programming skills for the workplace. Thus, I will be able to provide a learning space that is flexible for all students.
My expertise focuses in the sphere of mathematics and statistics, as well as into economics and statistical programming (R, Stata, SAS).
