I am a CPA and finance professional with more than 13 years of experience in accounting, private equity, banking, and financial reporting. I currently work as a Fund Controller for a private equity firm and am also pursuing my Executive MBA at Cornell University. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with financial accounting, managerial accounting, fund accounting, financial analysis, valuation, and advanced Excel modeling. I enjoy helping students not only understand accounting concepts, but also learn how those concepts are applied in real-world business environments.

Over the years, I have informally mentored and trained junior accountants, interns, and team members in both one-on-one and professional settings. My teaching style focuses on simplifying complex topics into practical and easy-to-understand concepts. I understand that accounting can feel overwhelming for many students, especially in courses such as Financial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Finance. My goal is to build students’ confidence by explaining concepts step-by-step and adapting my approach to each student’s learning style and pace.

I work with college and university students as well as young professionals who want to strengthen their accounting, finance, or Excel skills. In addition to tutoring academic subjects, I can also help students understand how accounting and finance are used in real careers and professional settings. As someone who moved to the United States and built a successful career in accounting and private equity, I value hard work, patience, and mentorship, and I truly enjoy helping students succeed academically and professionally.
