Hi! My name is Connor, and I’m currently a junior at Towson University studying Elementary Education. I also earned my Associate of Arts in Elementary/Special Education from Anne Arundel Community College, and I’m on track to graduate and become a certified teacher next year. I’ve already completed 4 out of the 5 required Praxis exams.
I have over 100 hours of classroom experience and have spent the past year working as a substitute teacher in Anne Arundel County. These experiences have helped me build strong skills in working one-on-one with students and supporting a wide range of learning needs.
When I work with a student, I take time to understand exactly where they’re struggling and why. From there, I use clear, step-by-step explanations and model how to solve problems so they can build confidence. I also incorporate hands-on activities whenever possible to keep students engaged and make learning more meaningful.
My goal is always to help students feel supported, capable, and successful in their learning.
