Learning is a lifelong process, a never-ending journey to expand your mind. All learners hit speed bumps but instead of skipping the next question or giving up, the best thing you can do is ask for help. There is NO such thing as a stupid question. I have several degrees in Education with a strong emphasis on English-Literature. Reading has been my number one hobby since I was little and once I grew up, I knew I had to find a job that revolved around what I love; words. I have been a private tutor for nearly 20 years and am hoping to broaden my client base through this site and contribute knowledge to those who need it most.

Nothing feels better than to share my enthusiasm over a topic in hopes that even a little of my passion rubs off on another person. I am great at helping students see things differently and sometimes the hardest problem is best solved by changing perspectives. I hail from a family of teachers who also wanted to make a difference in this world and words have power. I am proficient in MLA, APA, and Chicago Manual Style and I purchase new editions as they are released to remain up-to-date. So, stop pulling your hair out and let me help you see things a little differently because two heads are always better than one!

With eight years of higher learning under my belt, I have extensive knowledge in all the above subjects but it is my enthusiasm that makes me an excellent tutor. Besides, who wants to learn from someone who doesn't LOVE their job.
