I am a language educator, and one of my greatest joys is sharing this passion with others! My goal is to create cultural bridges throughout the community. I use engaging, rigorous, and personalized lessons for each student, in order to help them achieve their linguistic goals. I also rely on authentic resources, as well as a host of different tips and tricks to helps students enhance their own independent language studying skills and linguistic ability. The motto is to always keep learning fun!

With a Master's degree in secondary education, English as a Second Language, and a Bachelor's degree in French, I offer a great engaging learning experience for all of my students. In addition to my years of language study in the U.S., I have also studied in Morocco, France and Guatemala, and taught in Taiwan. I have experience teaching ESL, French, and Spanish to all different ages ranging from elementary students to adults.

*Cancellation policy: Please let me know as soon as possible if you must cancel your tutoring session, providing at least a 24 hour notice in advance. Without a 24 hour notice of cancellation, students will be charged half of the rate of the pre-scheduled session.

I have enjoyed working with kids my entire life; whether it is volunteering with a summer camp or after school mentoring, kids are one of my biggest priorities. I feel that it is vital to encourage their study skills and creativity at a young age to better prepare them for further endeavors. In elementary school, I was an outstanding student, which has helped me with my studies thus far in my academic career. I am proficient in several areas of study including elementary English, math, history, art, Spanish and French. Therefore, I am thrilled to challenge young students with interesting lesson plans to keep them a step ahead in the classroom!

Awesome Tutor

Gabrielle has been a blessing to me and my daughter. My daughter is very shy and was having extreme difficulty grasping French concepts and vocabulary at school. While working with her tutor she has become more confident in her ability and is starting to love her French immersion program. Gabrielle is so patient with her and challenges her to keep studying and practicing when they're not in session. She is very cognizant to the needs of her pupils and is able to identify when they need breaks or if they need to stop for the day. I honestly don't know what we would have done if she hadn't came in and worked so hard with my baby. My family truly adores Gabrielle and we all look forward to the tutoring sessions.

Gabrielle has been tutoring my daughter French 1-2 times a week for quite a few months now. I must say, she is absolutely fantastic! We both highly recommend her. I would describe Gabrielle as kind, patient, encouraging, great at breaking down difficult lessons into understandable parts -she also has that special ability to immediately connect with kids that are struggling with a subject or need a boost in confidence.
