Malcolm , 1 lesson with KittyMs. L is very patient and dedicated to working with her students. I could tell from our initial meeting that she loved teaching Chinese. She is very adept at recognizing her student’s problem areas and developing methods to help them improve. My HS son was struggling with Chinese but now has a clearer understanding of the language and stronger study skills to be successful. Ms. L was very instrumental in helping him achieve his success. I definitely would recommend her to other students.

Kind, engaging, and patient Chinese teacher!
Kitty is very friendly and kind. Our 8-year-old daughter (who is taking Chinese lessons with her) likes her. Kitty is open to questions and clear in her explanations. She gives realistic expectations for learning and makes learning fun and engaging. She helps to build a student’s confidence by practicing many examples. Kitty presents material clearly and provides many resources to use after class to practice at home. Kitty has helped me feel more confident in my Cantonese pronunciation, and is teaching me the vocabulary that I know I will use very often. The lesson plans are clear and well-organized, and ensure that I practice a certain amount by the time of the following lesson. I'm excited to learn even more in Cantonese and improve!
