My blend of Computer Programming, eCommerce and IT experience at an executive level have provided me with excellent skills in technology, math, writing, project management and making presentations. I worked at Marriott HQ for over 17 years and at Gemini Management Consulting in both business and technical organizations. And now I am levering my experience to help our next generation by providing tutoring for a reasonable price.

My strengths are in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, TEAMS, OneNote, OneDrive), Visio, general computer topics, creating presentations, and managing products and projects. I have helped many adults with learning how to better use their computers and even how to manage their photos across their computers and phones.

In addition to computer subjects, I can also help you with transitioning to a new job, defining new processes, creating spreadsheets and presentations, and reviewing essays / documentation. Becoming a great IT employee requires not only technical ability , but even more importantly the ability to clearly communicate and help guide business users to the best possible solution. As an IT professional, I have coached and developed dozens of entry level team members and managers, to help develop both their skills and careers.

I started my career as a Programmer (Computer Science BS degree at University of MD), and I have worked in virtually every part of an IT organization and with all types of business organizations as customers. I also earned an MBA from Pepperdine, and worked in many Fortune 500 companies as a Business Process and IT Consultant.

I love helping both adults and children learn, and become happier, confident skilled individuals. I tutored my daughter with ADHD for 15 years, and have tremendous patience. I am newly retired, and have very flexible availability. Let's work together to master that subject that you need help with!

Excellent Tutor

Tricia is teaching me about Excel from the ground up, how to build a table, the dynamics of a table, and pivot tables. Last time I learned to create categories/labels as headers for the information I wanted to use at work. I was a bit antsy about Excel, but Tricia makes it seem easy and fun. Good stuff!!!
