Now retired from MCPS, I have 14 years of experience working directly with the special needs population in high school. My students were coded with autism, add, adhd, cp, ms, dyslexia, mental challenges, dysgraphia, physical and cognitive impairments, and other. Creating or modifying materials for English, algebra, us history, art, and music classes, I am equipped with many strategies and techniques for teaching, and dealing with learning and/or behavioral challenges simultaneously.
