Hello (Konnichiwa)! I'm Rumiko, a Japanese tutor specializing in beginners and kids. I have over 20 years of experience as a professional Japanese translator and hold a Translation Certificate from the University of Toronto. My background in translation—covering marketing, entertainment, HR, and medical fields—helps me explain Japanese clearly, naturally, and accurately.

I have been teaching Japanese for more than five years, starting with in‑person one‑on‑one lessons and now fully online.
