Harvard University Economics Recent Graduate, Perfect ACT scorer

Moniola O.

My name is Moniola, and I am a recent graduate from Harvard University (Class of 2026), where I studied Economics and Computer Science. I scored a 36 on the ACT and earned acceptance to every college I applied to, including Stanford, MIT, Yale, Duke, the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton), the University of Virginia, Vanderbilt University, the University of Southern California, University of Michigan, and University of California, Berkeley. I ended up with a perfect score on the ACT, but it took me three attempts, and each time, I unlocked something new that helped me improve. The first time, it was mastering content. The second time, it was understanding strategy. The last time, it was having confidence in my abilities and trusting myself to perform under pressure.

I understand firsthand how overwhelming standardized testing and college applications can feel, and my tutoring approach is designed to make the process more manageable. I focus on both content mastery and strategic test-taking techniques, ensuring students not only understand the material but also know how to approach questions efficiently and effectively. Many students struggle not with the concepts themselves but with timing, strategy, and test-day confidence — areas I focus on improving.

Beyond my own academic experience, I have worked with high school students as a mentor, helping to guide students in one-on-one and group settings, fostering social, emotional, and academic development, and supporting goal setting.
