There is never only one way to solve a problem; students should be given the space to find as many different strategies as possible.
I'm a former high math teacher (Algebra and Geometry) and school leader, having worked with students across K-12. In addition, I have taught college access seminars and standardized test prep to students for almost 20 years. As a school leader and administrator, I have coached a variety of content teachers to help center student needs and learning while keeping standards and expectations high.
I have an undergraduate degree from Georgetown in International Relations and an MBA from the College of William and Mary. I am also certified in Massachusetts in math for grades 5-12 and became Restorative Justice certified in 2019 by Suffolk University.
