Hi- I'm Steve. I have worked in Television Post Production for over 25 years. I have been a Senior Editor for HBO and Disney, a Manager of Edit Services for Discovery, and am currently the Director of Post Operations for a facility in Baltimore, MD. With many years of hands-on profession broadcast experience, I have learned that there is always more to learn! I have taught and mentored many people over the course of my career to help them get to their desired level of proficiency, professionalism and artistry.

My decades of experience as a teacher has always been in the capacity of training members of the teams I have worked with and managed at different television networks. They have typically ranged from young college age adults to senior level broadcast professionals in their forties and fifties. I teach in the context of real-world applications - in other words, how a professional would approach it to get the best results in the most efficient manner. I can help from the very basics, to finessing the final product in color, audio, timing, etc. I am also a workflow expert, so I can teach you the most efficient way to work leaving more time for creativity.

I can also guide you on how to use Adobe Photoshop and After Effects as an editor. These are very powerful tools that all professional Editors should get comfortable using. I will teach you the basics to get things done, and dive deeper into capabilities of these programs that will help you grow as a professional, an artist or a serious hobbyist.
