I am thrilled to introduce myself and share my journey with you. After spending my life in India, I became the first woman in my family to venture abroad independently, completing my master's in graphic design in the UK at the age of 22. My experiences range from freelancing as a graphic designer during my bachelor's studies in India, where I created logos, websites, and illustrations, to selling handmade crafts at exhibitions. Additionally, I have a background in media photojournalism, having worked at the prestigious International Film Festival of India, and participated in the production of a Honda commercial in Goa, gaining valuable insights into pre-production and production processes.

My passion for graphic design extends to illustration and animation, where I achieved a Merit in my master's program and secured an internship at Hearst magazine in the UK. Here, I honed my skills in post-production and video editing, utilizing tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, and Procreate. I enjoy experimenting with mixed visual media, combining photography, filmmaking, illustration, and animation to create unique and innovative projects. My creative process is meticulous and well-researched, often earning praise for my ideation and execution.

In addition to my visual communication expertise, I am proficient in verbal and written communication. I have participated in numerous vocal events, interviews, and presentations, and am TEFL certified in English, with fluency in Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, Sanskrit, and French. My ability to teach languages to art students from diverse backgrounds enhances my tutoring approach. I have also published a short story on Kindle and written articles for newspapers and magazines in India, showcasing my strong written communication skills.

Drawing has been integral to my artistic journey, starting from my bachelor's degree in India where I specialised in Fine Art. I created logos, testimonials, and websites for companies, shops, and individuals. Additionally, I ran a handmade craft stall at an exhibition, selling diaries, postcards, bags, and gift boxes. This hands-on experience allowed me to blend traditional drawing techniques with my graphic design skills.

As I come from India, Hindi has been a native language for me. In addition to that I have published articles and poetry in Hindi in local news papers as well as community reader's book. It would be a great pleasure to teach someone how to speak Hindi alongside its fun facts.

My experience in video production includes being part of a 20-member team that produced a Honda commercial in Goa. I was featured in the two-minute advert, which aired on TV and in movie theaters. My master's final project was a solo short film where I handled all aspects of production, from pre-production to post-production. Additionally, as a media photo-journalist at the International Film Festival of India, I assisted senior media groups in capturing and editing event footage.

With a Master's in Graphic Design from the UK and extensive freelancing experience, I have a solid foundation in website design. During my Bachelor's in India, I worked with various clients, creating websites and other digital content, which helped me develop a keen eye for user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing designs. My internship at Hearst magazine in the UK allowed me to work closely with video production experts, honing my skills in digital media and post-production. Additionally, my diverse background in mixed visual media, including photography, filmmaking, illustration, and animation, enables me to approach website design creatively and innovatively. Due to this, I have made countless websites for clients using software like Reloom, Figma and Webflow. I am happy to help people build their website or teach them how to build websites in general!

Outstanding iMovie tutor

For years, my frfr oust ration with all videography tutorials has been that they explain all sorts of things that I’m not interested in and they do not explain much of what I think is fundamental to being able to record that and save videos. Prana was just fantastic at having a conversation with me to understand how much I already knew and where I was having difficulty and very quickly and clearly showing and explaining to me how to get done what I’m interested in. One of the best learning experiences I’ve ever had. I made best progress in my understand understanding and now have a path forward to accomplish work that I’ve been wanting to do for years.
