My drum style is inspired heavily by 60’s & 70’s rock & roll (ie John Bonham, Mitch Mitchell, Bill Ward).
As I was learning I was influenced by the punk movement with their fast rhythm precise fills.
But later with that knowledge I eventually evolved to learn how to not only play fast but to play slow and groovy beats; often orchestrating songs in my head.

I think it’s very easy to fall into being consumed by the technicalities of an instrument, so my style is all about feeling the music and expressing how it makes you feel. Drums is more than just a back beat and I hope to spread that to everyone!
Drums have been in my life for as long as I can remember! My father was a drummer so I became very familiar with a drum set at a young age but at the age of 12 it became a serious passion. Since then I have been experimenting with different styles and cultures of drums to expand my drum knowledge.
Because I am self taught I think I can really relate to anyone newly interested or just wanting to improve their skill in drums. Most importantly I want my lessons to just be fun and creative!!
