I hold a Master of Divinity degree and a bachelor's degree in Economics and Spanish, and I have more than 14 years of ministry experience. My professional background also includes banking, organizational leadership, teaching, project management, and consulting. In addition to public speaking, I also tutor in religion and biblical studies, ESL, debate, speech writing, and project management.

My public speaking experience began with debate in primary and high school, where I developed skills in argumentation, persuasion, organization, and thinking on my feet. I have continued using those skills throughout more than 20 years of public speaking, teaching, ministry, and leadership. As a pastor, I regularly develop persuasive messages, organize arguments, anticipate different viewpoints, and communicate ideas to diverse audiences. I can help students strengthen argument development, persuasive communication, rebuttal, organization, and oral delivery.

I have university-level experience teaching English as a Second Language in Costa Rica, where I taught university students and adult community members with different levels of English proficiency. I developed lessons and helped students strengthen their speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and everyday communication skills. I especially enjoy helping adults communicate more clearly and confidently in academic, professional, and everyday settings. My approach is practical, encouraging, and tailored to each student's goals and current level.

I have extensive professional experience managing projects from planning through successful execution. I currently serve as project manager for large-scale community events serving more than 4,500 guests, coordinating volunteers, logistics, communication, and multiple community partners. I have also managed major facility and capital projects, including an approximately $350,000 facility project and a $250,000 roof replacement completed within budget and on schedule. I can help students understand project planning, timelines, budgets, stakeholder coordination, vendor and contractor management, and project execution.

As a pastor, I regularly speak to audiences of different sizes and backgrounds throughout the United States and internationally. While serving at a University Church, I coached university students in preparing and delivering sermons, and I continue to help speakers strengthen their presentations today. I can help students improve confidence, audience connection, clarity, presentation skills, and overall delivery.

I hold a Master of Divinity degree with a 3.90 GPA and have more than 14 years of ministry experience. My background includes biblical studies, theology, preaching, teaching Bible studies, and leading discipleship and small-group ministries. I have also preached and taught in the United States and internationally. I can help students better understand the Bible, Christian theology, biblical interpretation, and other topics related to Christianity and religious studies.

I have more than 20 years of experience developing speeches, sermons, presentations, and other forms of oral communication. I help speakers turn their ideas into well-organized messages with strong openings, clear main points, effective storytelling, transitions, and memorable conclusions. My experience also includes helping people develop personal speeches and wedding vows, a service I previously offered through my Etsy business. I can help students write a speech from an initial idea or strengthen an existing speech so that it clearly communicates what they want to say.
