Your job is to give it your all by posting and engaging in our sessions, as well as making sure you dedicate enough time each week to be successful.
I have been teaching college courses in English composition and literature for over 15 years. Prior to my career as an instructor, I made my living for over 14 years as a writer, editor, and marketer for non-profit organizations. I transitioned to teaching because I worked with way too many people who lacked confidence in their writing skills, and I thought if I could help even a few people gain a more positive approach to writing, I should (and, also, a part of me missed talking with other people about literature and lit theory).
In terms of my education, I have a B.A. in English and education from Albright College, and an M.A. in British and American literature from The College of William and Mary. I have completed coursework toward a Ph.D. in English composition from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
