I have extensive experience in biology, general chemistry, algebra, English language arts, and spelling, and I approach each subject with clarity, structure, and enthusiasm. I aim to not only help students succeed academically but to build their confidence and foster long-term academic independence.
Before medical school, I spent a year working in a neuro-optometry clinic supporting children, individuals with special needs, and survivors of traumatic brain injury. This hands-on experience taught me to be exceptionally patient, adaptive, and attuned to diverse learning styles. I learned how to integrate visual learning strategies with cognitive development, a skill that has become central to my tutoring approach. Whether a student needs a calm, encouraging environment or more structured, skills-based instruction, I meet them where they are and help guide them forward. I strive to be more than a tutor—I aim to be a mentor and advocate, committed to each student’s growth and success.
