Over the past three years, I have had the privilege of teaching in an elementary school classroom setting, primarily working with 5th grade students, although I have also taught 2nd and 4th grade. My experience spans a wide range of subject areas, including math, science, reading, writing, and social studies, allowing me to provide well-rounded academic support. Throughout my teaching career, I have utilized a student-first approach, incorporating various learning strategies to address different learning styles and needs. I consistently use formative assessments to understand where each student is in their learning journey and adapt my teaching methods accordingly. While my primary experience has been in the classroom, I have also tutored students one-on-one, helping them build confidence and academic skills outside of the standard classroom environment.
