Since childhood, mathematics has been my playground. My fascination with patterns was nurtured through sleepless nights exploring complex theories and reading inspiring texts like "Gödel, Escher, Bach." This early passion propelled me to excel academically, culminating in a dual baccalaureate degree in Mathematics and Physics from Lycée de Nyékonakpoe in Lomé, Togo.

My academic journey continued at Purdue University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Driven by deeper knowledge, I pursued and achieved a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue, specializing in Automatic Controls, Robotics, and Systems Engineering. Throughout this journey, I developed a passion for sharing knowledge. Helping siblings and cousins with math homework in our large African family was just the beginning, laying the foundation for my teaching philosophy.

During my studies, I tutored students preparing for baccalaureate exams in Mathematics and Physics, guiding them through calculus, functions, and probability. At Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, I extended my services to IUPUI students, specializing in Differential Equations, Pure Calculus, Business Calculus, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, and College Algebra. I also became an LSAMP program tutor, assisting underrepresented students in Calculus. My experience spans diverse backgrounds and ages—from high schoolers in Upward Bound and Summer Bridge programs to adults balancing work and studies.

My teaching style is interactive and engaging. I ask comprehensive questions to confirm understanding, having learned students sometimes mask confusion. Creating a supportive environment empowers learners to achieve their goals. I believe genuine understanding is key to student success, driving my commitment to helping learners unlock their full potential.

Approved Subjects

Discrete Math

Discrete Math

My expertise in discrete mathematics stems from my Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, where I studied logic, set theory, combinatorics, graph theory, and algorithms in depth. I also have hands-on experience with formal verification tools (Frama-C, ACSL) that apply discrete math concepts — propositional logic, predicates, and mathematical proofs — to real-world software systems. I have tutored students in topics including Boolean algebra, recurrence relations, modular arithmetic, and proof techniques such as induction and contradiction. My teaching approach focuses on helping students develop rigorous logical thinking and problem-solving skills rather than memorizing formulas.
Finite Math

Finite Math

My foundation in finite mathematics is rooted in my Baccalauréate C4 (Mathematics and Physics) and reinforced through my Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University. I have extensive experience tutoring topics including matrix algebra, linear programming, set theory, probability, combinatorics, and systems of linear equations. My teaching approach emphasizes connecting abstract mathematical concepts to practical engineering and real-world applications, ensuring students develop genuine comprehension rather than rote memorization. I have successfully tutored students ranging from high school to university level in these subject areas.
French

French

I come from Togo, a French-speaking country where I spend the first 25 years of my life. That is where I also got my dual baccalaureate in Math and Physics in French. French is my first national language.
