I have a strong academic background in the sciences, having earned my undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I also completed 2 years of medical school, which gave me an in-depth understanding of anatomy, physiology, microbiology, pathology, and applied sciences. Currently, I am pursuing my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing, which allows me to bring both academic and clinical perspectives to my tutoring.

In addition to my academic training, I have years of experience supporting students in one-on-one and small group settings. I have worked with high school, college, and graduate-level students, helping them succeed in subjects such as biology, chemistry, writing, anatomy, and nursing-related coursework. I also enjoy working with students preparing for exams such as AP Biology, introductory college science courses, and nursing school prerequisites. My background in both research and clinical practice allows me to connect scientific concepts to real-world applications, which helps students see the bigger picture in what they are learning.

My teaching style is student-centered and adaptable. Every student learns differently, so I work to identify their strengths while building confidence in areas they find challenging. I use real-world examples, visual aids, and step-by-step problem-solving to make abstract concepts easier to understand. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them build lasting study skills and confidence that extend beyond the classroom.
