Skilled, experienced science and math tutor
Max has been helping our high school senior daughter with AP Physics C Mechanics and AP BC Calculus. Max is patient, low-key and good-humored and keeps lessons focused and productive. My daughter is a very capable student, and was reluctant to work with a tutor, thinking she should be able to juggle a rigorous class load (including 3 AP courses), sports, college applications, and extracurricular activities all on her own. Max has superior math and science skills and comes up with simple illustrations/examples that make complicated physics concepts clearer, but does so in a manner that is not patronizing, but invites the student to ask questions, make mistakes, figure it out, and really master the material. My daughter's grades are improving, and she is catching up on late assignments and gaining confidence. Max is timely, reliable, organized and professional in communication, scheduling, and during tutoring sessions.
