I graduated from high school in 2024 with a 4.5 GPA and am currently enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, along with a certificate in Nuclear Engineering. My academic strengths lie in math and science, including courses up to and including Differential Equations, as well as Physics 2 and Statics. I also possess strong technical skills, including a Fusion 360 software certification, and proficiency in MATLAB, C++, and Excel, which enable me to support students in both theoretical and applied problem-solving.

My previous teaching experience includes serving as a teaching assistant for an introductory engineering course designed for high school students. In this role, I graded assignments, provided one-on-one academic support in a classroom setting, and occasionally taught lessons, helping students grasp foundational engineering and math concepts. Through this experience, I learned how to break down complex topics into clear, manageable steps and adapt explanations based on individual student understanding.

In addition, I have worked as a counselor at multiple summer camps, including sports and outdoor programs, where I worked closely with students aged 9 to 16. These roles strengthened my ability to communicate effectively, remain patient, and adjust my teaching style to different age groups and learning needs. I approach tutoring by focusing on conceptual understanding first, followed by step-by-step problem-solving, encouraging students to ask questions and build confidence in their abilities. I am motivated to help students succeed academically while developing strong problem-solving skills that they can apply independently.
