I have just graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.F.A. in Art History from Savannah College of Art & Design. I also have a minor in Chinese Language and Culture and experience with public speaking. I have been working as a tutor at the collegiate level for the past 2 years helping students with everything from research skills to academic writing. While I focus on my abilities as an art history tutor, I have also mentored students in time & project management skills, public speaking, and Chinese language basics.

I truly enjoy helping others of all walks of life. I understand that the subjects I teach can be hard or uninteresting to some, but I believe the greatest motivator for learning is interest. Because of this I will do everything in my power to find a facet of the subject at hand that interests you.
My role as a tutor is to teach not just the material and content, but also the skills and mental tool-kit necessary for students to self-learn and study more effectively. Getting my students to a point where they no longer need my services is always my goal.

My specializations within art history are Indigenous Mesoamerican, Indigenous North American art and African art, although I can effectively tutor in any area of art history. I received a CRLA (College Reading and Learning Association) certification in 2024 for tutoring.
