Each student is different and so he adjusts his teaching methods to suit their needs and wants. For the Direct method, all teaching is done in the target language. When Mr. Mark B. uses the Communicative Language Teaching (CRT) method, he teaches the student to communicate in real-life contexts, such as learning dialogues about a visit to a restaurant or the doctor. He also uses Total physical response (TPR) in which the student reacts to the teacher with movement, such as miming, gesturing, or acting out the language.
