Geography and History might be boring to many students, but if taught the right way, they can be the most interesting and entertaining subjects. My experience as a college professor and K-12 tutor has enabled me to come up with some unique teaching methods that will allow for Geography and History to become a student's favorite subjects.
I have taught History and Geography to students as young as elementary school and as experienced as 60 year olds. I have traveled to over 40 countries, first as a backpacker during my college days,and then as a researcher during my professional career. In every country, I pick up first-hand information (photos, videos, stories, and experiences) that I can bring directly back to my students.
My ultimate goal is to improve the student's knowledge in the subject which will lead to better performance in the classroom. Simultaneously, I make sure that my students enjoy the subject which will keep them wanting to learn more. My classes are very lively.
