Hello, I have over 20 years of tutoring experience all ages and grade levels. I have successfully watched my students improve their grades in algebra, pre-algebra, geometry, biology, Anatomy and Physiology and a number of other subjects over the years. I love when students call and say they don't need me because they understand the material now.
I'm highly skilled in Microsoft Office products and can offer general computer support as well as tutoring in English, History, and general Chemistry along with a number of other subjects. I will gladly work with my students, their parents and teachers to develop the right teaching style to make my students learn and succeed. I'm also available to develop lesson plans for those who are home schooled or cyber schooled and looking for a little extra in person help.
I'm a current faculty member at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. I work as a research associate working in the field of population health informatics and knowledge and information management. I recently started working towards my doctorate in public health, so am very familiar with study habits and time management skills. Prior to this, I worked with the Division of Health Science Informatics at the School of Medicine. At DHSI, I mentored, advised and helped place all our informatics students from the School of Medicine, School of Nursing, and School of Public Health, in their practicum/internships.
I'd be happy to provide references from past parents or students if requested.
