Hi, I’m Brennan Boothby!
I am a full-time science teacher at a highly respected independent school in Anne Arundel County, where I teach Honors Chemistry and AP Chemistry. I’ve been teaching and tutoring for over a decade, with experience in chemistry, biology, physics, anatomy & physiology, and biochemistry.
What drives me as a tutor is the belief that every student is far more capable than they realize. My job is not just to explain concepts, but to help students discover their own strengths, build confidence, and appreciate the beauty of science.
I hold a Master’s in Chemical and Life Sciences from the University of Maryland and am currently pursuing a second Master’s in Environmental Engineering and Science at Johns Hopkins University. This advanced training keeps me deeply connected to science, and I love bringing that depth into my teaching.
I specialize in AP Chemistry, general chemistry, AP Biology, and biochemistry, and I work with students from middle school through college. Parents and students describe me as patient, encouraging, and dedicated.
If you’re looking for someone who can unlock potential, raise confidence, and make challenging science courses manageable (and even enjoyable), I’d love to help you succeed.
