I am a former Director of College Counseling, now serving as an Independent Education Consultant specializing in college and career counseling. I have expertise in advising perspective college students in financial aid completion including; FAFSA, CSS, and scholarship/grant application assistance. In addition, I also counsel high school students in college essay writing, scholarship essay writing, as well as resume/brag sheet creation for college entry. Although my focus is the high school sector, I maintain relationships with college students that still seek my assistance with financial aid guidance, course selection, and academic guidance. I received my Master's in Education-Human Development from the University of College Park in 2015, and I've practiced college access counseling for 5 years.

I hold a BA in Technical Writing (English). I have taught high school English, served as a tutor for reading and writing (K-12), and have also served as an Upward Bound English instructor. Currently as a college access counselor, I assist students daily with personal statements, resume writing, scholarship writing, and editing content. Prior to my career in education, I served as a proposal writer for Blackboard Incorporated, an e-learning company.
