I was an honor roll student in high school and I currently maintain a high GPA in college, where I am pursuing an Associate’s degree in Political Science with a Paralegal Certificate. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in reading, writing, critical thinking, and government, and I enjoy sharing these skills with students who want to strengthen their performance. In addition, I hold professional certifications including Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and CPR, which highlight my training in patience, structured teaching, and adapting lessons to meet individual needs.

My teaching and tutoring experience comes primarily from my work as a Registered Behavior Technician, where I supported children and adolescents with developmental disabilities. In that role, I implemented lesson plans, taught step-by-step concepts, and tracked student progress. I regularly worked one-on-one with students to build comprehension, improve focus, and break down challenging topics into manageable steps. These experiences taught me how to adjust my approach depending on the learner’s age, background, and unique needs, which is directly applicable to tutoring students in academic subjects.

I have also worked in professional roles that required strong communication and problem-solving skills, such as customer service, sales, and scheduling. These experiences have strengthened my ability to explain material clearly and patiently. Whether helping a younger student build confidence in reading comprehension or guiding an older student through political science or writing assignments, my approach is always focused on encouragement, clarity, and steady progress. I believe that every student can succeed with the right support, and I look forward to applying my education and hands-on teaching experience to help learners reach their goals.
