My name Is Jorge M. I currently have 136 College credits under my belt, and am taking one more course to complete my degree. I've tutored students ages K-12 in various subjects for the Migrant Education Program of Pennsylvania. During my employment I would do sessions in home assisting the students with various subjects. This included Math, Science, English, Grammar, Reading, and Prepared speeches. I do enjoy math and prepared speeches the most, it is exhilarating to witness the improvements on task in these subjects.

I love tutoring because when I was a child I had tons of questions, and if it was not for a tutor I would not have had answers. It requires patience to be a tutor, furthermore it requires motivation on my behalf to encourage the student the task at hand is not just a simple assignment to be turned in to school. Every task has a purpose and can result in a learning experience either in the methodology to complete the assignment or a life lesson to never give up.

I worked for the migrant education program of Pennsylvania and during this time the majority of student interactions involved ESL development. In the realm of public speaking I participated in Academic Decathlons throughout High School and have presented publicly on behalf of organizations during my time at Penn State.

I have been speaking English at school and Spanish at home my entire life I've had he opportunity to acquired both languages as my native tongue.

I started 33 Varsity games starting my Freshman Year in AAA football. I played in the Save an Eye All Star Game of North Western PA. I would be suitable to tutor every position, but key positions would be Safety, Corner Back, Wide Receiver, and Tight End.

I'm not only a tutor, I am a mentor. Learning is fun.
