I am a retired school teacher from Somerset County Schools. I taught Special Education for 24 years and was an administrator for 8 years. I also coached high school soccer and basketball. My strength continues and always has been my relationships with students. I am currently substituting in Somerset County Schools. I am viewed as a teacher in good standing with the majority of the student body. I was a Dean of Discipline at Washington High School. I recently substituted there and students, that last year I was suspending, were welcoming me with open arms and asking if I was back to work. That was a most pleasant experience. I have a wide variety of teaching experience in addition to teaching Special Education. I have taught Government, Algebra, Geometry, Reading , English, Biology and other Sciences. This experience will make me a valuable asset to any job related to teaching.
