Since 2015, I have been teaching high school students in both in-person and online settings, specializing in SAT and ACT preparation as well as AP science courses including AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and AP Physics. My approach is rooted in more than just content review; I focus on cultivating strong work ethic and helping students become introspective learners. I guide them to recognize their individual strengths and weaknesses so they can approach test prep strategically and confidently. This not only improves their scores but also fosters academic maturity and self-awareness.

My teaching philosophy is deeply individualized. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all solutions or shortcut strategies that promise results without effort. Instead, I work closely with each student to understand their unique learning style and tailor lessons accordingly. Whether a student is a visual learner, a methodical thinker, or someone who thrives on pattern recognition, I adapt my instruction to align with how they process information most effectively. My analytical mindset helps me identify subtle patterns in their mistakes and customize feedback that leads to measurable improvement. This personalized and holistic approach has consistently helped students grow, both academically and personally.

I specialize in delivering clear visual explanations to help students grasp complex mathematical concepts. I use creative strategies and memory tricks to make formulas easier to understand and retain. I also guide students in recognizing patterns, especially in geometry, to build their problem-solving skills and confidence.

I have over a decade of tutoring experience in Geometry, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Pre-Calculus. For the past four years, I’ve focused on helping students in NYC prepare for the Regents exams in Geometry and Algebra 1 and 2.
