Hello, my name is Will and I am a tutor specializing in mathematics and test prep. Unlike many tutors, I have experience with the new digital format of the SAT; on the digital PSAT I scored a perfect 1520 which earned me National Merit Semifinalist, and I also scored a 790 on the digital SAT math, and a 780 on digital SAT reading.
My experience with the new format allows me to better equip students with the newly available and strategies. Beyond standardized testing, I am very passionate about math. I have taken the entire calculus sequence, along with linear algebra, discrete math, and statistics.
Additionally, I scored a 9/10 on the Society of Actuaries probability exam, with only 45% candidates achieving a passing score of 6/10. I have helped students in their math classes ranging from middle school algebra to early calculus, and of course provided test prep advice. I like to see students succeed, and I find myself leaning towards test prep because it allows me to see quantifiable improvements in student's comprehension.
