I have a Ph.D. in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia and a J.D. from Harvard. I was an English Professor for several years and taught composition at Columbia University, where I also trained new composition instructors. While I was a professor, I was nominated a record-breaking number of times for a campus-wide teaching award. I'm currently a practicing attorney, but I tutor and edit on the side because, while I love my job, I also miss teaching!

Naomi is by far one of the best tutors, or teachers, I have ever had! Beyond being extremely personable and humorous, Naomi genuinely connects with you while she teaches because she cares about her craft and making sure that she can instruct you in the best way for you individually. At the beginning of our sessions, Naomi and I set a goal for my LSAT score and not only did I reach it, but I surpassed it! Before Naomi I worked on numerous platforms to improve my scores and understanding of LSAT sections, but I can safely say that she is an absolute game changer. Throughout our sessions, Naomi not only taught me the basic principles that I need to succeed on the LSAT, but also why those same principles are helpful in law and education going far beyond their abstract applications on the test. Every minute that I was working with Naomi felt helpful and low pressure, with no discomfort of being wrong and encouragement when I was right even when I didn’t feel particularly confident in my answers. Honestly cannot explain enough how much I learned about the LSAT, and even some random and fun facts, from Naomi. Great Tutor Naomi is a great tutor and has a deep understanding of the law. We went through several cases, and she could dissect them for me piece by piece. She took an overwhelming project for me and simplified it into a simple explanation.
