Patient, bubbly and FUN tutor!

Romina is absolutely wonderful! Extremely sweet, personable, patient, and understanding. She likes to use color as part of her organization of lesson plans, which made the steps in our chemistry session flow smoothly into understanding for me. She is very, very patient and wants you to question while she is explaining. Romina also makes you think, which is essential to completely understanding the concept. She explains, very well, in simple terms, and thoroughly; then creates sample problems for you or takes one you had trouble with and has you work on it. I talk myself through my problems here and there and if I was incorrect, she would get me back on track with questions to get me thinking on the correct path. I found that aspect very rewarding and pleasant. We went over basic chemistry concepts such as metric prefixes, unit conversions, exponential math. 100% recommend for everyone

In one session, Romina helped me understand organic chemistry concepts that I had been struggling with for weeks. She helped fill in the missing pieces that I needed to understand for many of the COOH derivative mechanisms. Romina also provided worksheets that I could use for practice before my exam. I absolutely love her and will be using her wonderful tutoring services for the remaining weeks of organic chemistry 2 as well as my upcoming biochemistry course!

Energetic, funny, very knowledgeable and not scary!

I am in 10th grade and Romina and i worked on kinetic molecular theory and after the session, it helped me to have a more meaningful understanding. Romina was a high school science teacher but is now getting PhD in chemistry, almost done. Her knowledge of chemistry is encyclopedic but she is very good at bringing the info to a level which i can understand and relate to. We will work with her for the rest of the semester. She is also funny and i felt very comfortable with her immediately.
