Hi, I'm Abigail! I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a minor in Mathematics from the University of the Virgin Islands (UVI). I am currently a graduate student pursuing my Master’s degree in Environmental Health at the University of Maryland. My math and science background gives me a strong foundation for teaching, and I want to help students truly understand the material instead of just memorizing it.
I offer 100% online tutoring sessions focusing exclusively on Algebra and Geometry. I have a lot of experience helping students learn. While at UVI, I worked directly with students as a math tutor to help them build their foundational algebra and math skills. Currently, I am a Graduate Teaching Assistant, where I run laboratory and discussion work. These roles have taught me how to break down complicated problems and equations into simple, clear steps.
My goal is to support you in reaching your academic milestones. I am happy to adapt our online sessions to match whatever homework or topics you are currently focusing on in class. Communication is very important to me, so I make sure to reply quickly to all student and parent inquiries. I look forward to connecting with you, so please send over a message if you have any questions or if you would like to start planning our first online math session!
