Hi, my name is Lindsay! I recently graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I am currently in the process of obtaining certification in Elementary Education and Special Education, and am actively pursuing my Master's degree in Special Education. I have over six years of experience providing one-on-one private tutoring to children in grades K–6, along with two years of classroom teaching experience through student teaching placements in first grade and third grade. My background in both General and Special Education gives me a unique perspective and the ability to support all learners through engaging and meaningful academic experiences. Through both tutoring and classroom experiences, I am familiar with a variety of curricula and have implemented targeted reading, writing, and math interventions to meet students' individual learning needs.

In my tutoring sessions, I balance reinforcing strengths and addressing areas for growth by maintaining a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment. I recognize that no two students learn the same way, which is why I make sure to become deeply familiar with each of my students and build lesson plans tailored to their learning goals. I adapt my instruction using a variety of evidence-based strategies and engaging activities to make learning both effective and enjoyable. My goal is to build both confidence and academic skills while helping each student reach their full potential.
