Hello! My name is Hrishi, and I’m currently an Applied Mathematics major at the University of Maryland, College Park. Much of my academic work focuses on understanding why mathematical ideas work, not just how to apply formulas, and that perspective strongly shapes the way I tutor. I’ve worked with middle school, high school, and early college students in one-on-one and small-group settings, helping them strengthen foundations, prepare for exams, and gain confidence in subjects that once felt intimidating.
My tutoring style is highly personalized and concept-focused. I believe that most students struggle in math not because they “aren’t good at it,” but because the material was presented too quickly or without enough intuition.
