Excellent tutor!!!
Shirin was a great find!!! My daughter worked hard but struggled with Algebra. Shirin has a great personality, is polite, engaging, easy to get along with, and took her position very seriously. My daughter loved her!! She said Shirin explained concepts more clearly than her teacher. If Shirin felt as if, over time, your child needed more hours to better understand a concept or to prepare for an exam, she will suggest it. She availed herself to my daughter by phone if she struggled with homework. My daughter is in 9th grade and had taken Honors Algebra. You will not find a more qualified, knowledgeable, and dedicated tutor!! We highly recommend Shirin and look forward to working with her late summer to prepare for the fall school year. You will not go wrong with Shirin!!

Shirin has a wonderful and jovial personality that embraces persons of various backgrounds to teach and build upon the knowledge the client offers. She has the ability to positively encourage the client to keep going. She says "we can do it" so you know your not alone. I never saw her become frustrated or unprofessional. Shirin will dedicate all the time she can to ensure you are successful. Today was my last time with her after a journey that was harder than I imagined and I felt like I was leaving a dear friend. I will miss her.

We interviewed several candidates for our son's Algebra I tutor and we chose Shirin. She and our 13 year old son connected and since she has been tutoring our son (since mid-September) he has not received less than an 89 on any test. She is patient, happy, thoughtful, and takes time to make sure our son is understanding the material. She also has been flexible with time changes and is able to work around our schedule if need be once in a while. I would whole heartedly recommend this tutor to anyone. She is TERRIFIC!

Shirin gave my daughter the confidence to tackle the hardest math classes. She got a 5 on the AP Calculus exam. She gave just the right amount of support and was incredibly kind and helpful. She's a treasure!
