Hi, I'm Josh! I recently graduated cum laude from the New Jersey Institute of Technology with a BS in Chemical Engineering, and I’m currently pursuing my MS at the University of Maryland, College Park. Throughout my education, I’ve taken on some of the most challenging courses in the STEM world—Calculus, Chemistry, Thermodynamics, Physics, and more. These subjects form the foundation of all technical disciplines, yet they’re often taught in ways that feel overwhelming, unclear, or detached from real-world meaning. I know firsthand how confusing and frustrating that can be.

I believe that no subject is inherently “too hard”—it’s just often poorly explained. A class is only as difficult as the way it's taught. I started tutoring in high school and continued into college, where I found purpose in helping others grasp concepts they thought were out of reach. My approach is rooted in clarity, patience, and tailoring the pace to each individual student. I work to break complex topics down into simple, intuitive ideas, and I aim to make learning active, engaging, and even enjoyable. I tutored roughly a few dozen students during my Junior year, many of them doing quite poorly. But all most of them needed was a breakdown of the material at their own pace with someone they felt comfortable with, and they all began to succeed.

Many students come to dislike STEM because they never had a teacher who could connect the dots in a way that made sense to them. My goal is to change that. With the right guidance, I believe every student can not only understand these subjects—but actually enjoy them.

I specialize in:
- Calculus I , II
- Physics I and II
- Differential Equations
- Chemistry I , II , Organic , and Physical
- Any Chemical Engineering Specific Courses
